GE Ice Plaza at Robson Square 
Rejuvenated after a decade without use, the Robson Square outdoor ice rink has reopened to excitement from locals and tourists alike.  The rink is free to visitors with their own ice skates or $3 to rent a pair.  The rink is open from 12pm to 9pm until March 21st and is a five minute walk from the Westin Grand. 

Grouse Mountain
Located in North Vancouver 15 minutes outside of downtown Vancouver.  Grouse Mountain is the most accessible ski area to downtown.  Home to the renowned Skyride and award-winning terrain parks for skiiers and snowboarders of all skill levels.  

Cypress Mountain
Located in West Vancouver 30 minutes outside downtown Vancouver.  The highest skiing peak on the North Shore Mountains boasts versatile terrain, vertical drops, and excellent snow conditions.  Cypress Mountain was the official freestyle skiing and snowboard venue for the 2010 Olympic Games.

Mount Seymour
Located in North Vancouver 30 minutes outside downtown Vancouver.  Surrounded by beautiful views of Vancouver, the Islands, and the Valley - indulge in wintersport by hiking a snowy trail or spending the day downhill skiing. 

Whistler Blackcomb
Located 2 hours north of Vancouver along the Sea-Sky Highway.  Home to two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, there is something for everyone.  Shopping in Whistler Village, taking the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, or skiing the slopes are just some of the activities.  Not to mention world class restaurants and luxurious accommodation.
