Fireworks

Celebration of Light
An annual event that takes place over Vancouver's English Bay and Jericho Beach.  The Celebration of Light joins music and fireworks to create a feast for the eyes and ears.  Dates this year are July 21st, July 24th, July 28th, and July 31st celebrating the USA, Spain, Mexico, and China. There is excellent seats on the beaches and surrounding restaurants.  Make sure you arrive early as spots fill up quickly.  Contact our Concierge for dinner reservations.

Bowen Island
A 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay or a 35 minute ferry ride from Granville Island takes you to Bowen Island.  A sceneic retreat with beautiful scenery, delicious cuisine with an emphasis on local ingredients, and a world famous chocolate shop.  Bowen Island's diversity make it a favourite day trip for many visitors and locals in Vancouver.   

Lynn Canyon

Lynn Canyon Park

Stanley Park

West End Beaches 
A quick walk either along the seawall or down vibrant Davie Street will bring you to beautiful English Bay.  There are grass and sand areas to sit down and read a book or enjoy a picnic lunch.   Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and the only salt water pool in Vancouver are easily accessible.   Sunset Beach has a dog only beach and the ferry to Granville Island which departs from the bottom of Thurlow Street.
